Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring the members of our dynamic team who, in their own way, help injured clients and their families plan for a secure financial future. Today the spotlight is on Jordyn Burnell, our Public Relations & Communications Manager. Jordyn supports Milestone’s marketing efforts and oversees all PR and communications work for the firm. We asked Jordyn a few questions about working at Milestone and life outside the office. Read on to learn more about her!

How do you help Milestone’s clients?

While I don’t necessarily interact with our clients on a day-to-day basis, I like to think that I help them indirectly through the communications work I do. With every promotional material we produce or editorial story we secure, attorneys and plaintiffs alike become more educated on the services Milestone provides, which, in turn, ultimately helps our clients.

What is the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is working for a company with such an altruistic mission. Every day I’m working alongside a team of professionals who are so passionate about helping others – it’s inspiring and a constant motivator.

What is your favorite thing about working in Buffalo?

Lunchtime walks! Downtown Buffalo is so walkable, with tons of great restaurants to grab lunch or places to just post up and take in the sights.

What makes you a good party guest?

Even with a few drinks in me, I’ll always help you wash the dishes!

What is your “walking down the street” song?

Disney World Magic Kingdom’s entrance music loop.

Do you have any unusual skills or talents?

I’ve been called the songbird of my generation.

If you were an ice cream flavor, what would you be?

Cookie dough.

If you could trade places with any other person for a day, whom would it be?

Probably someone living in a third world country – I never want to take for granted all the blessings I’m so fortunate to have in life.

What is your personal mission statement?

I think my Instagram bio says it best: “I have come to the conclusion that I identify as a coffee person.”
