Head of People

As the Head of People at Milestone, your job is to help the CEO and other key executives be better attuned to the successes and challenges of the overall team, filtering both the positives we need more of and the negatives that require large-scale changes/initiatives that must be driven from the top down.

• Understand the CEO’s vision and long-term goals/objectives, and analyze our business in order to create an organization that supports that vision

Requirements:
 
• 8-10 years of HR business partner, People Operations, or HR generalist experience working in a fast-paced environment
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience with proof of HR-related qualifications 
• Experience leading a People Operations or Human Resources team
• Experience developing high-performing leaders, employees and teams
• A demonstrated ability to challenge conventional approaches and a willingness to build a unique approach

Social Media Intern

Are you that person who always knows the latest video trends on TikTok and Reels? Do you have the ‘secret sauce’ figured out to grow a following and keep people engaged on social media? If a big part of your day is scrolling, creating, and posting, then you may be the perfect fit for our social media intern position at Seventh Amendment Holdings.

Key Responsibilities Include

Under the supervision of the marketing team, the social media intern will be responsible for creating fresh and interesting content for Seventh Amendment’s social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. This role includes regular feed posts as well as stories, Reels, and highlights where applicable, according to a predetermined cadence coordinated with the marketing team. It also includes investigating and evaluating new apps and opportunities. The social media intern’s understanding of social trends and tactics as well as video/graphic production will be a critical asset to Seventh Amendment’s organic outreach efforts.

  • The position is located in Buffalo, NY and can be filled immediately.
  • This is a part time role, with an estimated 8-10 hours per week.
  • $14/hour

Client Services Associate

Are you a finance whiz who loves people as much as numbers? Do you wake up and check the stock market first thing in the morning? If you enjoy providing the best client experience and have a passion for financial services, then you could be a perfect fit for our Client Services Associate role.

Under the supervision of the Director of Wealth Management, the Client Services Associate is responsible for the overall client experience. This role will also work with the investment team to monitor client portfolios and investment models and execute trading. Investment research will be a function of this role, conducting meetings with external portfolio managers to understand portfolio / security performance, positioning, and global economic outlook in addition to the overall investment philosophy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA is preferred, but not required
  • Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) track welcomed, but not necessary
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically at an RIA
  • 1+ years of experience in portfolio management / client service
  • Experience with Schwab / TD Ameritrade, Morningstar, Bloomberg, Redtail or similar industry software is preferred
  • Strong interest in Settlement Planning and Financial Services
  • Self-starter with the ability to synthesize information and develop creative solutions, both within a team and independently
  • Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills so you can effectively articulate your thoughts when working alongside multiple business segments
  • Organizational and time management skills; must be able to multi-task and work independently in a professional, fast-paced, and high traffic environment
  • Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures

Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and nurture relationships with top trial lawyers and law firms across the country.
  • Use your knowledge of litigation and settlement strategies to help law firms excel.

  • Admission to the bar in New York state or another state

Operations Paralegal / Case Manager

As the Operations Paralegal / Case Manager at Milestone, your job is to provide support to the Case Management team on varying projects related to settlement. Your understanding of the legal industry coupled with your superb organization skills and attention to detail make you a critical asset to our daily operations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, paralegal certificate preferred but not required, or equivalent job-related experience. 
• 3+ years of legal experience in litigation, such as mass torts, personal injury settlements, and/or products liability litigation; knowledge of lien resolution a plus.
• Computer literate. Highly experienced in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Must be able to meet deadlines, wear multiple hats, maintain flexibility to pivot as needed throughout the day, and thrive in pressure situations.
• Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and professionalism in working with time-sensitive materials, and confidential matters.
• Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on managing time, documents, projects and relationships. 
• Must be a self-starter able to work independently under minimal supervision, but also take direction/guidance well and function efficiently as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and juggle multiple tasks/projects/deadlines simultaneously.
