Financial Operations Analyst

Under the supervision of the CFO, this position is responsible for all financial operations of Qualified Settlement Fund administration; the evaluation and execution of cash transactions (including liquidity management, accounts payable, investments, and reporting).
 
Additionally, this role will be responsible for opening and redemptions all investment accounts. This individual is also responsible for performing various financial models, some analysis of financial performance, and related reporting as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Responsible for accurate reporting and processing of cash 
  • Assist the CFO with various data aggregation, analysis, and reporting 
  • Responsible for all cash management  
  • Conduct bulk ACH/wires for disbursement of funds  
  • Monitor account balances and daily cash flows in and out of all qualified settlement accounts 
  • Provide extreme attention to detail regarding record keeping on a day-to-day basis 
  • Deliver a high level of comfort and sophistication with spreadsheet analysis  
  • Familiarity with banking and investment platforms such as Demand Deposit accounts, Insured Cash Sweep accounts and Investment Custodial accounts. 
  • Responsible for management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.  
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of operational risks specific to the cash management process and separation of duties 
  • Work with a greater team to help manage liquidity and investment opportunities, while managing the risk profile of the funds 
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business groups and communicate to a diverse group of people

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field 
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in banking or finance
  • Experience in the financial services industry, including ACH processing, deposit and/or cash management 
  • Strong interest in Settlement Planning and Financial Services 
  • Self-starter with the ability to synthesize information and develop creative solutions, both within a team and independently 
  • Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills so you can effectively articulate your thoughts when working alongside multiple business segments

Relationship Manager

Reporting directly to the Director of Settlement Planning, this role is an internal relationship manager supporting both Qualified Settlement Fund Administration and Settlement Planning. The Relationship Manager will work to maintain and further develop established relationships within our firm-wide qualified settlement funds. He or she will strengthen existing client relationships, grow the business pipeline for each law firm and offer exceptional client service by bringing planning opportunities to the firm.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Maximize revenue growth within our entities
  • Create personal relationships with attorneys utilizing firm-wide qualified settlement funds, thereby deepening business relationships with law firms
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the business pipeline for each law firm, creating a clearer picture of settlement planning and fee deferral opportunities
  • Deepen current relationships with existing clients by catering to their specific needs
  • Create personalized relationships with attorneys whereby they are educated on our services, their questions are answered, and communication is seamless
  • Serve as first point of contact for all client inquires and requests
  • Responsible for attending industry events to personalize client relationships and build opportunities within the pipeline (travel required)
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to current clients and potential opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records by utilizing Salesforce for leads & opportunities

Requirements:
  • Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 3+ years account / relationship management experience, preferably in legal industry
  • Advance Microsoft Excel experience

Director of Wealth Management

The Director of Wealth Management for Monolith Advisors, LLC is a unique opportunity to be a part of a specialized, boutique firm, making a true impact on the financial and personal lives of the clients they serve. The Director is a broad leadership position within the organization’s Seventh Amendment Holdings set of companies. The successful candidate will need to bring a true empathy and relationship focus when dealing with clients across the country, as an integral part of the role will be focused on client-facing financial planning and asset allocation strategy. He or she must be agile and have the ability to function in a flexible work environment, establishing lines of communication, systems, and processes that align the “Monolith” approach of financial planning with the goals and values of the Seventh Amendment companies as a whole. The Director will be a contributing member of a high energy, high impact, motivated team. They will need to be able to collaborate and function independently in this evolving and growing organization.

The position calls for an individual with an in-depth understanding of capital markets and related opportunities in alternative and traditional asset choices. It will be important for the Director to understand the operational aspects/workflows related to the selection, on-boarding, and maintenance of investment products/solutions (alternative/traditional), as well as considering connectivity aspects between asset managers, product platform providers and custodians, including trading practices/processes.

This role reports directly to the CEO and will work closely with advisors and clients on various topics, focused primarily on investment views and related rationale.

Requirements:

The candidate should have professional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate self and others to produce high-quality output, possibly within tight timeframes and while simultaneously managing several projects. The position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule. Additionally, you will need:

  • Minimum 5-10 years in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA, CFA or CIMA preferred
  • Broad understanding and background in manager research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment vehicles, and analytical tools/technologies
  • Extensive experience in speaking with clients and communicating asset allocation strategies, current market environment and also experience conducting annual reviews
  • In-depth knowledge of Analytical Tools/Database applications (e.g. Morningstar, Black Diamond, Salesforce)
  • Understanding of third-party money manager structures (Single Contract, Dual Contract, Direct, etc.) and access points (custodial platforms, product platform providers, direct manager access)
  • Significant Portfolio Management Experience
  • Flexibility to travel, if needed
