John Bair

Founder

As founder of Milestone, John Bair's mission is to provide expert solutions for attorneys and their clients before, during, and after settlement. With over 20 years of experience in the settlement planning industry, he founded our qualified settlement fund administration firm, SEC-registered investment advisory firm, and 501(c)(3) pre-settlement funding nonprofit. He is the driver of the firms' national business development and works closely with leadership to facilitate strategic growth.

A graduate of West Point, John served in the U.S. Cavalry for seven years as a captain and aviation officer. He founded and served as CEO of a national plaintiff structure firm from 2003 to 2012 before launching Milestone. John has advocated for bills designed to protect consumers and enable pro bono settlement consulting, provided services on over 10 major multidistrict litigations, and worked on landmark cases. He serves on the board of the Casey Feldman Foundation and its End Distracted Driving campaign. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice’s Trial Lawyers Care and Eagle PAC.

In his spare time, John is an avid soccer, basketball, and hockey dad. He loves traveling the world with his wife, Amy, and enjoys healthy competition in bocce, billiards, and cornhole.
