As Director of Onboarding, Carla meets with Milestone’s law firm clients at the onset of new QSF projects, ensuring each settlement is adequately mapped, tracked, and launched into our operations. Carla works closely with the Pathway®, data, settlement planning, and QSF administration teams to plan each project’s specifics and workflows.

Carla is a licensed attorney; she graduated from the Southern University Law Center with honors, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 2012. She joined Milestone with 14 years of legal experience, spending the previous six years in settlement administration serving as senior counsel with subject matter expertise in probate. She managed a department that handled the coordination of court approval matters for tens of thousands of claimants, managed day-to-day relationships with hundreds of local counsel firms, and handled external communications with plaintiffs, defendants, and other ancillary parties. Carla has experienced settlement processing at every phase and every stage, from pre-settlement to post-settlement.

Now living in Texas, Carla grew up in Louisiana and has lived in several other states around the country. She is a plant lover and spends much of her free time providing community service within the Houston area.
