As a liaison between the Marketing department and the Business Development department, the Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting both teams daily. This person will help generate new business opportunities and will be integral to the continued growth of the Milestone brands. This role is responsible for conducting research, developing and qualifying new leads, maintaining correspondence with prospective clients, and organizing and managing data. 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and update all leads, contacts, and accounts in Salesforce
  • Assist with the creation of processes that facilitate the flow of information between the sales and marketing teams 
  • Identify and execute on implementing processes that will make the sales funnel more efficient 
  • Data and list management
  • Provide broad operational day-to-day support and serve as the back office for the Marketing and Business Development teams
  • Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up on leads and prospects
  • Conduct research on target audiences and markets
  • Help Business Development and Marketing meet quarterly quotas for pipeline and revenue
  • Provide thoughtful and insightful reports to influence future strategy and processes
  • Ability to switch gears and assist with special requests as the need arises 
  • Understand the needs of the legal industry. Stay up to date on and knowledgeable of legal and financial trends

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or related field


  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Executive presence & polish – be comfortable communicating with Partners and CFOs
  • Energetic and results-driven 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus
  • Desire to pursue a career in sales or business development
  • Eager to learn and coachable
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
